We flew to Washington D.C. for a 6 day vacation. It's technically Zoee's "birthday trip" since it's the last time she can fly for free. We took Owyn to Argentina right before he turned 2, and Zoee gets DC. We had a very early morning flight from Moline to Detroit, and then Detroit to DC. Owyn was so excited to sit in the window and watch the sunrise. He rode the airport tram in Detroit on the ELEVATED tracks. Then he was invited to sit in the cockpit of our 2nd flight. Finally, when we arrived in DC, he was so excited to ride on the Metro, he already had the route to our hotel memorized and knew what other trips he wanted to take over the weekend.
