Kayaks in the Bio Bay

Jack did some research on Puerto Rico prior to our trip, and he was very excited about a tour through a bioluminescent bay near our hotel.  Owyn and Jack joined the Yokahu Kayak tour tonight.  They paddled a kayak, a first for Owyn, through a canal covered by mangrove branches into a bay - "Laguna Grande".  The tour guide then showed them how the bay becomes illuminated by the tiny bioluminescent organisms living in the water when their kayaks and paddle move through the water.  Owyn caught on quickly to paddling a kayak, and he had a huge smile on his face when he got back to the hotel and told me "it was awesome".  The two of them even shared some private laughs as they recounted their adventure to me.  What a wonderful experience for both of them!

Jack was going to take the camera with him on the trip, but the guide was worried it would get wet so he left it in the car.  The guides did take some pictures so we are hoping to get copies of those in the future.

***UPDATE - July 3rd***

This is the picture taken by the guides
