Hotel #2

After our trek to the fort, we checked out of hotel number one and moved further down the beach to hotel number two - San Juan Marriott Resort.  We got all checked in and headed straight to the penthouse to check out the "executive lounge" where we would be able to eat breakfast and snacks each day.  The outdoor balcony provided beautiful views of the ocean.

Owyn and Zoee saw the pool from up there as well, and then we knew where we would be spending the rest of the afternoon!  Owyn knew from the hotel's website that there would be a water slide at the pool, and he just couldn't wait to try it. 

While Owyn and Jack rode the water slide, Zoee made a new friend and splashed around the shallow end of the pool. 

However, it wasn't long before the boys talked Zoee into joining them on the water slide.  She loved it!

They all three had so much fun splashing around that I was worried I wouldn't be able to get any of them out of the pool for dinner.  Thankfully, the water slide closed for the day which made it much easier to talk them into leaving.  But not before Owyn practiced his flips...

We can't wait to get back to the pool tomorrow!
