First, the April start to the season was quite rainy which resulted in more cancellations than practices. Next, lower City Park flooded which meant nearly two weeks of cancelled games. Finally, the games were relocated to Napolean Park, but the final tournament had to be moved up a week earlier which means the season will end sooner than planned.
Despite those setbacks, Owyn's team came together for a win tonight. Owyn helped make a play to tag a runner at 2nd, and he had a couple good hits. He even scored a run, always a thrill for him.
We will miss a few games while we are on vacation next week, but we will be back in time for the final game. Hopefully the Cardinals will be playing well together that game too!
