Owyn and Zoee, mostly Owyn, put together a paper chain countdown to Christmas today. Owyn has been wanting to make a paper chain countdown to SOMETHING since his last birthday. Owyn chose blue and green paper, no surprise. Zoee chose pink and purple paper, again not a surprise. Owyn created the pattern - green, purple, blue, pink - so that they could alternate tearing off the strips each night. He wrote ALL the dates on the strips, and he helped me staple it all together.
Owyn is very proud of this paper chain.
They only have to wait 31 days until Christmas. Hopefully tearing off paper chains will make the wait easier.
Addition...Saturday, Nov. 26th...they have each torn off one paper chain, such excitement!
