Ponseti Races

We took the kids over to a fun run on the University campus this morning.  It was a last minute decision for us, but I am glad we went.  The race is named for Dr. Ponseti, a former physician at the University of Iowa who developed the treatment protocol for club foot.  I love the race motto:  "We race so one day they run".  The proceeds from the race go into a fund to help families with children receiving the treatment. 

We will mark our calendar for next year and participate in this fun event again!

Owyn took off in the 5-6 year old group.  He is the 2nd
from the left in the long sleeve grey shirt and black shorts.

Zoee had no interest in the 2 and under race, until we pointed
out the babies running and then she chased them.

Owyn discovered Giant Jenga.

I love it when Owyn actually holds Zoee's hand. 
Zoee, however, thought Owyn and Daddy were going to swing her.
