After confirming there would be no Gondola ride today, we were back in the car for our main destination - Coeur d'Alene!! We went straight to the race site to get Jack checked in for his Ironman. Owyn was excited that he got to go in the "big tent" with his Dad and help pick up his race packet.

Where is Zoee through all of this? She was so well behaved and then napping in her stroller while we waited. Please let this calmness last through the weekend!
Next, Jack wanted to put on his wetsuit and take a short swim in Lake Coeur d'Alene where he will complete the swim portion of the Ironman on Sunday.
His post-swim comments:
"It's freezing cold. And very choppy!"
That was when Jack started to worry about the swim even more. "Will my feet freeze because they are not covered? Will my goggles stay on? Will they fog up too much and I'll have to just throw them and go without?" We'll find out on Sunday!
While Jack swam, the kids and I discovered a nearby play structure that Owyn's new friend Sean had told us about this morning. Owyn LOVED it! I'm sure we will be back here on Sunday.
