Gettin' Artsy

Every year in June, we head downtown for a day of fun at the Iowa City Arts Fest.  We usually go on Sunday, Kids' Day, and get signed up for the library's summer reading program as well as enjoy whatever music and activities they have set up for families. 

It was so nice to spend a lazy day together and enjoy our community.

Owyn made a mouse (yellow and blue, of course) at one of the art stations.

Zoee made a mouse too. Pink, of course.

And she made a dog puppet.

They watched this magician for at least 20 minutes.

Owyn was so captivated by the magic. 

And he lost his hat despite holding it on so tight!
