Coach Pitch Tee Ball

Owyn is participating in Coach Pitch Tee Ball through the Iowa City Parks and Recreation for the first time this summer.  He started on June 6th, and practices with his team on Monday evenings and plays games on Wednesday evenings. 

So far...

*He is on the "Cardinals" team, but he wishes he was a Cub so he wears his Cubs hat
*He talks to his teammates more than he actually watches or plays the game
*He likes to bat, preferably with HIS OWN BAT
*He does not like to play in the outfield
*He wants to be a catcher
*He does not understand that in tee ball everyone gets to hit, everyone gets to run, and nobody really wins

His first game was today, against the Cubs, and he had two hits without the tee!  It also happened to be picture night so we were able to take a team picture as well.
