Zoee's Birthday - Part 3

We continued Zoee's birthday celebration with a party on Sunday afternoon.  Zoee chose to have a monkey cake - "Mok, OO-AH-OO-AH" - that her Daddy happily made for her.  Her monkey was white cake on the head and arms and chocolate cake on the middle and legs.  She loved watching him decorate the cake and really loved digging into it.

"Want this piece right here."

"Thank you for the Monkey cake, Daddy!"
After a yummy taco bar and monkey cake, we moved the party along to opening gifts. Zoee's friend, Gwyn, gave her some art paper and stickers, and a fun cookie making set (wooden cookies) that we have been playing with a lot since Sunday.

I think Gwyn was more excited to give than Zoee was to receive!

Zoee also got some new (and much needed) bath toys from Uncle Randy and Ethan.  Zoee and Owyn both were more than happy to jump in the tub that night to take baths with fun new toys!

Grandma Noble brought Zoee a cute new fleece top that looks very snuggly warm, and some Color Wonders finger paints, stampers, and Toy Story color papers.  She was just starting to get into the opening when she got to this gift.

Finally, Grandma Spurgeon gave Zoee a new (and again much needed) bathrobe that will keep her warm and dry for a couple of years.  It has Hello Kitty on it and Zoee was excited when she saw the kittys.  We didn't get a picture of it, but I'm sure we'll have many of her wearing it post-bath in the coming months.

Zoee loved her monkey birthday party, complete with her very own monkey balloon that she has been dragging around the house ever since Sunday.
