Wednesday was Owyn's first day home from school for Thanksgiving vacation, and it was a cold and stormy day so we never left the house! Our good friend Louise was in town from New York and stopped by to say hello, and our friend Gwyn came to have lunch and play for a bit too. Owyn pulled out his wooden blocks and built "Chicago". The building with colors is the hotel we will be staying at next week when we go to Chicago, and the short building to its left is "the Diversey hotel".
Zoee found a Winnie the Pooh coloring book and stickers in her closet that had never been used, and an old pair of "O's shoes" (slippers) that fit her now. She was so happy to be wearing his shoes and having them fit rather than sliding along in his too big shoes like she usually does when she plays. (She likes to go in his room and put on his shoes and try to walk around the house.)
