Happy Birthday Daddy!

Jack was in Wisconsin this weekend running a race, but he was home in time today to celebrate his birthday with us!  Owyn really wanted to have a surprise party for his dad, and he was disappointed to learn that the three of us were the extent of the guest list, but we prepared a great party.

The kids made him a sign that was hanging in the kitchen when he arrived, we made brownies and homemade vanilla ice cream, and there were gifts ready to be opened before he even had his jacket off.  The three of us hid behind the couch and jumped out to say "Surprise" when he got upstairs.

From Zoee, a new lunch sack because she loves to pack her Daddy a lunch for work.

The weather was finally nice which allowed us to play at the park in the afternoon, and we ate pizza and watched a movie in the evening.  We had a lovely, fun-filled day!
