Summer Vacation

We kicked off our summer vacation yesterday when we loaded up the car and began driving to Boston.  Jack has to work there next week so we decided to drive and make it our summer holiday. 

We will spend several days in Boston, hopefully hit a beach or two, possibly see Cooperstown, and then spend at least one day at Cedar Point, an amusement park in Ohio, on the way home. 

Tonight we stopped in Oneonta, New York to eat dinner at Brook's House of Barbecue.  The reviews online were good, the parking lot was full, and the smell was INCREDIBLE!  The line for a table was longer than we wanted to wait, but we were able to place a to-go order that was filled in ten minutes.  They had a picnic area near the parking lot so we sat there and ate.

After dinner, we enjoyed some ice cream and a look around the gift shop. 

We were FULL when we got back in the car, and Owyn and Zoee were asleep soon after while we continued driving to the outskirts of Boston to spend the night.
