Today was our first official day in the Boston greater area. We parked the car at our hotel in Newton (suburb), and then took a taxi to catch the Green Line train into the city. Owyn was very excited to check out a new subway line, the
Boston T. When we got to the station, however, we learned that many of the Green Line's outer stations are closed for repairs today. Luckily, they had a shuttle bus to take us to the first open station.

Our first order of business was to find some lunch. We located one of our favorites, Chipotle, near Fenway Park. Of course, we had to stop to take a few pictures of Fenway!
We also discovered a bike shop right next to Chipotle, much to Jack's happiness. Owyn and Zoee got some new biking gloves, and Jack found a couple pairs of his favorite socks.

After lunch, we went back to Fenway to check out a couple of souvenir shops. Owyn got a new "Green Monster" t-shirt, a baseball, and a Boston Red Sox hat. All were green, of course. Jack and Owyn have tickets to the 8:00 pm game tonight between Boston and New York Yankees, and now Owyn has a new shirt and hat for the game. Zoee got a new hat as well, but she was less interested in modeling it for photos so we had to just sneak one.

With full bellies and a couple new souvenirs, we were ready to see what else Boston has to offer!
