Owyn's class was in charge of presenting this month's prayer service at school, and they chose an Earth Day theme. Zoee and I went to watch him today, and he did a GREAT job! He sang a song with his classmates, and then each child read a line describing gratitude for something on our Earth. Each child also had an illustration to go with his/her line. Owyn's line was about Iowa:
"I am grateful for Iowa. We can keep Iowa beautiful by picking up trash and throwing it away or recycling it."
