A Day Of Fun

I was sick all weekend.  There are at least ten loads of laundry all over the laundry room.  The kitchen is a mess.

But I turned my back on all of it and spent the day out with my best girl.

Our day started at the book store. We read lots of books, went to story time, and colored a picture.  Then we spent a few hours in one of our favorite places, the Children's Museum!

Then Zoee flew us to Chicago!

After playing in the museum, we ate the lunch that we had packed, and then headed home.  We had just enough time for chalk art in the backyard before picking Owyn up from school.

It makes me crazy how much work needs to be done in the house ALL THE TIME, but Zoee won't remember that.  I hope that she will remember these days, however.  The days that we spent together doing whatever she wanted to do and having fun together the whole time!
