Visiting Ethan

Since there was no school today, Jack had the day off, and the weather was decent, all the stars were aligned for a long awaited trip to Oskaloosa to see Ethan's college and go bowling with him!

At first it was just to be Owyn and Jack, but I had a house to clean so I talked Zoee into going also.  She wasn't too excited about it until I told her she would get to watch a movie in the car all the way there and all the way home.  She fell for it.

Owyn and Zoee took a few lessons from the Master Bowler, Ethan...

Then Owyn got to show his bowling skills...

  

 

Finally, Zoee showed them her own technique...

 

Although Zoee was most interested in figuring out how exactly the balls got from the end of the lane back to her!

 



Final score had Ethan in 1st place, Jack in 2nd place, Owyn in 3rd place, and Zoee in 4th place. 

In her defense, Zoee ended her game about halfway through the frames so that she could do stickers and color instead.

A few video games and good-byes to Ethan and they were back on the road to home.  Something tells me they will make this voyage again before Ethan is done with school.
