One advantage to living in a Unesco City of Literature is an abundance of literacy events! Today we went downtown to check out the children's book fair, "One Book Two Book". Owyn listened to two authors read from their books while Zoee did songs and finger plays at "Book Babies" with the library staff. They also both made crafts, watched a puppet show, and played with trains with Dan the Train Man. Of course we couldn't get out of there without buying a few new books for home. A fun way to spend a cold morning!
