New Annual Tradition - Chicago Winter Wonderfest

Last year, Jack discovered an event called Winter Wonderfest at Navy Pier in Chicago.  We all had so much fun last year that we just had to make a return trip this year.

Owyn got to skip school on Friday so that we could drive into the city and attend the opening weekday of Winter Wonderfest.  There was not a large crowd which was perfect because we did not have to wait in line long for any of the rides.  Owyn took off immediately and was on a ride within two minutes.  Zoee was slower to settle in, but she finally convinced Owyn to go with her on one of the obstacle courses and then she was set.  We all had such a great time!

Owyn wasted no time hopping on a ride!

People actually get put into Jolly Jail by the roaming police,
but Owyn just snuck in when nobody was looking.

Back to the ball room

We realized that we need to get Zoee into a ball sport
because she throws very well!

Those are a lot of steps up for one little girl!

See you next year, Chicago Winter Wonderfest!
