We just arrived in Chicago for a couple of days. Owyn's number one goal this trip is to ride the Blue Line to Forest Park. As we traveled in on 290, we saw it sitting at the station so Jack decided to jump out with Owyn and check that off the list. This was the conversation as they got out of the car:
Me: We have a surprise for you. You can get on the Blue Line here and take it downtown.
Owyn: No, I want to take it from the beginning.
Me: You can ride it out to Forest Park and then back downtown.
Owyn: Okay! Dad, we have a vision! We'll get off at Oak Park, then we'll get back on...
That's all I heard before the door closed but he was still talking as they crossed the steeet to the station.
