We usually go to Grandma Noble's house on Christmas Eve, but there was too much snow to travel to Cedar Rapids this year. For the first time since Owyn was born, we opened our gifts to each other and ate dinner at our house on Christmas Eve.

| Calling Grandma to tell her we can't drive to her house. |
Owyn was so excited to open presents he could barely stand still. Zoee wasn't sure what to think but quickly dove in to the unwrapping and eventual playing.
First, we got to open the gifts that Owyn picked out for us during his dollar store
shopping trip. And we opened Owyn's gift that he made at school - a poem with his hand prints, and a cool black and white picture of him that will be framed and hanging in our house soon.

| Zoee gave Owyn the Toy Story Garbage Truck. |
 |
| Owyn gave Zoee the little sister and bed for her dollhouse. |
 |
| A new tube sled! |
 |
| Wooden fruits and vegetables to cut and serve on a tray. |
 |
An airport to add to Owyn's train tracks.
"It's O'Hare because it's much too big to be Midway." |
