Owyn participated in his first IronKids Triathlon of the season today in Waterloo. It was a chilly morning, but the conditions were just right for Owyn to get a 1st place Gold medal in the 7-Year Old Boy division, and place 5th overall in the Junior (age 6-8) Division.

During the award ceremony, Owyn was absolutely thrilled when he heard his name announced in the First Place position!

This finish secured Owyn a spot in the National Championships in August, but he is planning on doing more triathlons later this summer. Way to go, Owyn!!
