Owyn participated in his 2nd Ironkids Triathlon of the summer today in Ames, Iowa. Owyn was excited to sleep outside in the tent again...

By far, our favorite photo from this event was taken by a race photographer as Owyn was coming into the finish line. Volunteers made a tunnel with their hands for many of the Junior racers, and Owyn's determination is evident on his face as he finished his race...
Owyn earned a 2nd place medal for the 7-year old boys, and another spot on the podium...
We could not be more proud of Owyn's never-give-up attitude when he is racing. He was thrilled to add a silver medal to the gold medal he earned last week. And the summer isn't over yet, there are more triathlons in our future!
