Homework

Jack has been really good about doing "homework" with Owyn each week over the summer.  Owyn reads his sight word list and numbers, writes his name, reads a book, and solves the countless story problems his Dad creates for him. 

Tonight, Owyn's homework was an addition workbook we got in the dollar aisle at Target. 



Zoee was very jealous that Owyn had homework, and she wanted some homework of her own.  I quickly made up a sheet that would require her to identify letters, and try to circle the particular letters.  She did pretty well, and enjoyed the one-on-one time with Daddy.

 

She thought she did VERY well on her homework, and she had fun putting a sticker on her "finished" page. 

Let's hope she's still this enthusiastic about homework in the future when it's
for real!
