Coral Ridge Play Area

We discovered an old friend on this rainy afternoon...the Coral Ridge Play Area! 

Owyn has nearly outgrown the play area.  What used to be a safe setting for him to learn how to crawl, walk, jump, and climb has been transformed into a make-believe course for "ABC's Wipeout", his current favorite show on TV.

Zoee climbed to the top of the slide by herself

Zoee, on the other hand, is testing her independence these days, and the play area is a perfect place for her to safely practice her newfound skills.  She hasn't spent as much time here as Owyn did when he was small, but I think it will be added to the rotation of things for us to do together this fall when Owyn is in school.

She was very proud of herself for climbing onto the helicopter by herself.

Because of the rain outside, we played in the play area AND played on the cars and trucks.  Owyn has graduated from the cars and trucks to the roller coaster simulator.  And he is very happy to have a partner beside him as the roller coaster slowly clicks up the hills and races down the other side.
