Zoee's 1st Zipline

The Central Florida Zoo in Sanford, Florida is also home to Zoom Air Adventure Park, and they have adventure courses that include zipline.  This was a perfect first opportunity for Zoee to try zipline because the course was lower to the ground and shorter distances.  For most zipline courses that we have found, she is still too young to be accepted.  She was excited to try it today so we sent her on her way!

Zoee went through a short introduction to the course and learned how to clip on and off the cables, and then she moved through the course at her own speed.  The first half was lower, 4-5 feet off the ground, and I was able to walk under her as she moved through the course.

Some of the boards were moving as she walked on them.

Once Zoee finished the lower half with a zipline descent, she moved across the path to the course that was 8-feet off the ground!

There were some narrow boards, some moving boards, and some skinny cables.
At this point, Zoee said to me "I thought I was doing an adventure course not the circus!"

She did great, despite the warming temperatures, frequent sneezing,
runny nose, and annoying gnats.

There was even a wooden tunnel she had to crawl through while
being tethered to the cable.

Zoee was happy to get to the swing zipline at the end of the high course.
Zoee had fun on the 2-hour course, but we determined later that she had an allergic reaction to something in the park which made the end of the course less enjoyable for her.  She had a lot of itching and hives which made her miserable for the final 20 minutes.  She did great working through the entire course with very little frustration, and (most importantly) she would like to zipline again in the future!

Jack and Owyn were on the bigger course at the same time, but we were only able to see them two times.
