Since it is not very often that we are in downtown Chicago so early on a Saturday morning with no real plans, we decided to visit Shedd Aquarium before beginning the trip home. We tried to visit the aquarium in December, but there was a 60-minute wait to get in that day so we went to the Field Museum instead. Zoee has been thinking about the aquarium ever since, so we decided today was the perfect day to visit since we could be there right when it opened. We enjoyed seeing all the sea creatures, a giant anaconda, a diver in one of the tanks, and touching the sturgeon fish.
