Jack pulled out his racing gear this summer and completed the Steelhead Half Ironman in Benton Harbor, Michigan. He signed up with a friend, who just happens to be the father of one of Zoee's good friends. So Zoee was more excited about going on vacation with her friend than watching Daddy race.

Jack took a short swim in the lake on Saturday,
and Owyn just had to try the extra wet suit. |
Our friend, Stephanie, made support team shirts for us to wear on race day, and she had Zoee over to her house to make signs earlier in the week. It was fun to be decked out with matching shirts and a big sign that Jack couldn't miss!

We were lucky to see Jack during every leg of the race, and he saw us each time as well. That may be a first for our family!

We had a fun weekend with our friends and watching Jack race. Now, on to Cedar Point!
