1st Day of School 2014

We've reached the unofficial end of summer with the 1st day of school today.  Owyn started 3rd Grade in Mrs. Duffey's class, and Zoee started her Kindergarten year with Mrs. Rushton.  Zoee did GREAT this morning going right into class with no tears and few nerves.  Jack and I, surprisingly, didn't cry either!

I was able to volunteer in the lunch room today and see Owyn and Zoee for a few minutes while they ate. I didn't get a photo of Owyn, but Zoee was willing to pose with her sandwich...

After school, Owyn told me that his favorite part of the day was the afternoon recess because it was longer.  He was also very happy to have his friend, Dominic, in his class for the third year in a row.  Zoee's favorite part of the day was recess, but she did NOT like "nap time".  She also has a few friends from preschool in her class - Nora, Anya, and Colby.  We are very happy with both of their teachers and are looking forward to another great year at Regina!
