Zoee is on the Robitic Regals Lego League team and they had their Expo in Davenport at the Putnam Museum. The theme of this year's competition was Trash-Wise. The team had to pick a piece of trash and research how that piece of trash could be handled in a more friendly manner. Zoee's team chose an old house as their piece of trash. They came up with this idea after visiting the Salvage Barn in Iowa City. The Salvage barn takes old housing items like doors, windows, flooring, bricks, etc. and sells them. This helps keep those items out of the landfill.
