The theme this time is "Mixed Media" so she gets to use a variety of supplies. Last week there was a lot of glitter and pom-poms as they made toothbrushes, tooth fairies, and teeth. This week they painted a design on foil and made paper necklaces decorated with colored tissue paper.

Art Class
Zoee is back to Art Class at our neighborhood rec center, and she LOVES it. Still.
The theme this time is "Mixed Media" so she gets to use a variety of supplies. Last week there was a lot of glitter and pom-poms as they made toothbrushes, tooth fairies, and teeth. This week they painted a design on foil and made paper necklaces decorated with colored tissue paper.
As someone who never enjoyed Art Class as a kid (I hated being messy and my version NEVER looked like the teacher sample), I hope that Zoee continues to embrace the beauty of creating Art. She loves exploring different materials and creating her own designs, and she is proud of everything she creates. Even when it's messy and doesn't look exactly like the teacher sample.
