Soccer Girl

Zoee had her last soccer game with the Timbers tonight.  I wasn't sure how these four weeks would go - would she lose interest?  would she hate it?  would she cry if someone took the ball from her? 

Well, with the exception of last week when she fell down PRIOR TO SOCCER and scraped her knee, she loved playing soccer!  She loved the stretches at the beginning.  She loved the warm-up run around the field before each game or practice.  She loved playing Goalie and trying to stop the ball.  She loved running after the ball to kick it.  She loved dancing all over the field.  Okay, so dancing isn't really part of soccer, but she did dance about often.

Listening to tips from her coach

After tonight's final game, Zoee asked if she can sign up for soccer again next year, a sure sign that she really must have enjoyed it.  Next up for Zoee is basketball!
